The Oromo People Peace, Stability, Strength, and Unity Organization (OPSSUOS) is a worldwide group that works to make the world a better and safer place for everyone. It works by focusing on four main goals. The first is to create peace by getting people to talk about their problems instead of fighting. Second, it helps communities build strong foundations like good schools, clean water, and fair governments, which makes them more stable. Third, it builds strength by giving people more power through education and healthcare, which makes them better able to handle problems. Lastly, it helps people get along by getting different groups to talk to each other and respect each other. The OPSSUOS's goal is to help communities get back on their feet and build a hopeful, cooperative future by combining these four pillars.

OPPSSUOS is a dedicated non-profit organization that has spent the last eight years fostering peacebuilding, reconciliation, and sustainable conflict resolution across Ethiopia. With deep roots in the Oromia region, we have established ourselves as a trusted, neutral facilitator. Our Footprint and Approach

For nearly a decade, OPPSSUOS has actively engaged all members of society including elders, youth, women, and local authorities to build peace from the ground up. Our targeted interventions cross diverse zones to meet unique local needs:

- Borana: Supporting pastoralist communities by facilitating resource sharing dialogues and strengthening traditional peace frameworks.
- Harar and Burayu: Managing urban and peri-urban communal dynamics by promoting cultural exchange, tolerance, and youth engagement.
- Shambu: Empowering local peace committees and administrative bodies to detect and de-escalate early warning signs of conflict.
